We're excited to work to elect a pro-housing majority on City Council.
Our housing shortage is a political problem, and we need more pro-housing champions on City Council who will introduce and pass the ambitious legislation necessary to make Atlanta affordable, walkable, and vibrant.
This election cycle, we're taking the following actions:
- Reaching out to meet every candidate running in a contested race!
- Hosting candidate forums open to the public. Check out the recordings on our from the events for District 2 and District 11.
- Sending a questionnaire to every candidate running for office to understand their views on housing and endorsing pro-housing candidates!
- Working to elect our endorsed candidates! Check out our endorsements and all the candidates' responses to our questionnaire.
Here’s how you can make an impact right now:
- See what's on your ballot and make a plan to vote.
- Share Abundant Housing Atlanta’s voter info and candidate endorsements on our website and social media: Instagram | Facebook | X and encourage a friend, family member, or coworker to vote housing.
- If you’re excited about a candidate, browse their website (linked from our endorsements) and find a way to get involved, whether that’s pitching in as a volunteer, spreading the word, or helping fuel their campaign.
- Sign up for our email list or become an Abundant Housing Atlanta member! Members get a say in our endorsements, help us put resources behind pro-housing candidates, and get a front-row seat to all things housing, all year long.
